I've been coming here since I was a kid. Such an amazing community of teachers and practitioners. The teachings I receive here are always profound and grounding and it is one of the most beautifully serene places I've been. Truly healing on so many levels.

Magical place

I've been a coming to this beautiful retreat center for several years now. It has started to feel like a second home; a place where the Nyingma lineage remains intact and continues to be transmitted authentically. The residents do an enormous amount of work out of their simple love and commitment to helping those interested in the unique vehicle of dharma. It is an incredibly supportive environment to engage with ones practice in a very deep way. If you are interested in listening to, contemplating, and practicing Buddhism in a Tibetan Buddhist context, I cannot recommend it enough!!!

The beauty of one's natural mind is radiantly reflected throughout the temple and landscape. Its stillness allows the heart to settle deeply in continual appreciation. The teachings seamlessly merge as a mirror for seeing all one encounters there. Living mandala.

This Buddhist center is patterned after a family monastery and has been my home away from home for the past four summers. As part of the Learning Dharma Skills program, I lived and worked there, while attending the retreat events. Being able to practice and learn from a Tibetan master is beyond compare. The country setting is beautiful and the community of residents and visitors full of interesting tales and interactions. Though there are lots of quiet moments, the summers are probably not the best time for silent retreat, though I can imagine the other seasons are.
